I am pleased to announce that two of my botanical images, Cat’s Cradle (Herissantia crispa) and Golden Ratio (Portulaca umbraticola), have been selected for The Tucson Museum of Art Biennial, which opens for members on May 21, for the public on May 22, and runs through September 27, 2026. The criteria established for the Biennial is work that “investigates the intersections of art and place or heritage—however those themes resonate in [the artists’] practice,”

I am a fine art photographer, and my current work is focused on intimate images of plants captured with a macro lens. Printed at large scale they expose the intriguing intricacies of botanical forms. I find solace and inspiration in the natural world, so my work also includes images of animals, rocks, as well as both heavenly and terrestrial landscapes. I frequently draft text to accompany my images reflecting my thoughts on encountering the subject. This nascent website is an evolving project, so please check back for more images.
